Job Description

Purpose of the Job

The Assistant Manager – Manufacturing and Quality will play a crucial role in the successful launch and ongoing production of over 100 SKUs in the categories of incense sticks, scented candles, and reed diffusers. This position is responsible for ensuring that all products meet established quality standards and are manufactured efficiently, thereby contributing to the overall success of the brand.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans to support the launch of over 100 SKUs within the first year.

·         Quality Assurance: Establish and monitor quality parameters to ensure compliance with industry standards.

·         Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.

·         Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, supply chain, and marketing, to ensure alignment on product specifications and timelines.

·         Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards in all manufacturing processes.

·         Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics, quality issues, and improvement initiatives to senior management.

 

Skills & Competencies Required:

·         Technical Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, production planning and process improvement methodologies.

·         Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze production data and identify areas for improvement.

·         Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

·         Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address manufacturing challenges and quality issues.



Requirements

Qualifications Required:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field.


 

Prior Experience Required:

·      Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing and quality assurance, preferably in the consumer goods or wellness industry.

·         Proven experience in production planning and process improvement initiatives.
